Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
  2. Add the hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. If using, fold in the chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and color.
  4. Taste the remoulade and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more hot sauce or cayenne for extra heat.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve as a spread on Po' Boy sandwiches or as a dipping sauce for fried seafood or vegetables.
