Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 medium cucumber thinly sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves torn
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • Ice cubes for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the sliced strawberries and cucumber.
  2. Add the fresh mint leaves to the pitcher.
  3. Pour in the water and stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  4. If desired, add honey to sweeten the elixir and stir until dissolved.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to infuse.
  6. Serve over ice cubes in glasses, garnishing with additional mint leaves if desired.
