Preparation Steps

- Add 1 pound of ground beef formed into patties; brown each side for about 2 minutes.
- Remove patties and set aside, keeping drippings in the skillet.

- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and 1 cup of water; bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer browned patties to a slow cooker; pour gravy mixture over the top.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
- Mix cornstarch with cold water to form a slurry; stir into the slow cooker and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
