  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Coleslaw optional, for serving

Method
 

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the chicken breasts, BBQ sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir to coat the chicken evenly.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  3. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
  4. Serve the pulled chicken on hamburger buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.
