Ingredients
  

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon green onions chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Aluminum foil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  3. Place each salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon the gochujang mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Fold the aluminum foil around the salmon to create a sealed packet.
  6. Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for steam) and transfer the salmon to a plate.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
