Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, 2 packets of instant yeast, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Gradually mix in 1 cup of warm milk (around 110°F), 1/3 cup of melted butter, and 1 beaten egg until a soft dough forms.
  2. Transfer your kneaded dough into a greased bowl, covering it with a clean kitchen towel. Place the bowl in a warm area, allowing the dough to rise for 1-2 hours, until it has doubled in size.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1/3 cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of diced fresh strawberries and 1/4 cup of strawberry jam.
  4. Punch down the risen dough, roll it out into a 16x12 inch rectangle, spread 3 tablespoons of softened butter over, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture, and top with cheesecake filling. Roll tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
  5. Place the cut rolls into a greased baking dish, cover with a towel, and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Pour 1/2 cup of heavy cream over the rolls and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Prepare frosting by beating together 4 ounces of softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup of softened butter until fluffy. Gradually mix in 1 cup of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream.
  8. Allow the baked rolls to cool for about 10 minutes, frost generously, and top with graham cracker crumbs and sliced strawberries.
