  • 1 tbsp Salt Sea salt recommended for added texture.

  • 1 tbsp Jalapeño Powder Cayenne pepper can be used for additional heat.
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Substitute with ground coriander if necessary.
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic offers an elevated flavor.
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp Butter Ghee is a suitable dairy-free alternative.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and place an oven-safe broiler pan on the rack.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine jalapeño powder, garlic powder, and cumin to create a flavor-packed spice blend.
  3. Generously season T-Bone steaks with sea salt and coat thoroughly with the spice blend, pressing the spices into the meat.
  4. Place the seasoned steaks into the preheated broiler pan and allow them to cook until they reach an internal temperature of 125°F, about 45–60 minutes.
  5. Remove the steaks from the oven and cover loosely with foil. Rest for 10 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  6. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter. Sear each side of the T-Bone steaks for 1 minute until caramelized.
  7. Remove steaks from the skillet, cover with foil, and let rest for additional few minutes, bringing internal temperature to about 145°F.
  8. Slice against the grain on a cutting board and serve immediately, optionally squeezing fresh lime over the top.
