Cooking Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add a splash of olive oil. Add fresh broccoli florets and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook thick-cut bacon pieces for 6 to 8 minutes until crispy.
- In the same skillet, sauté finely chopped garlic in the leftover bacon fat for about 30 seconds. Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water, then pour into the skillet.
- Stir in the cooked broccoli and crispy bacon, gently tossing to coat. Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish as desired, then serve warm.
