Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Asian Ground Beef Noodles
  1. In a large saucepan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in grated ginger and soy sauce. Sauté for an additional 10-15 seconds.
  3. Pour in water and add white pepper powder. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, bring salted water to a boil and cook vermicelli noodles according to package instructions.
  5. In a small bowl, mix corn flour with water until smooth. Stir into the simmering beef sauce, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Toss the cooked noodles into the sauce. Serve garnished with spring onions and optional vinegar and chili oil.
