Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your workspace.
  2. Lay the flank steak flat, pound it to 1/2 inch thick, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine spinach, ricotta, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, minced garlic in a bowl to make the filling.
  4. Spread the filling over the steak, roll it tightly and secure it with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  5. Sear the braciole in olive oil in an oven-safe skillet until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Pour marinara sauce over the braciole, cover, and transfer to the oven.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice and serve.
