- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the pie crust and bake until lightly golden.
- In a saucepan, whisk lime juice, zest, sugar, eggs, and basil on low heat for about 10 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted and smooth.
- Cool the curd slightly before pouring into the baked pie crust and chill in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours.
- Slice and serve chilled, garnished with basil leaves or lime slices.
