Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the pie crust and bake until lightly golden.
  2. In a saucepan, whisk lime juice, zest, sugar, eggs, and basil on low heat for about 10 minutes until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted and smooth.
  4. Cool the curd slightly before pouring into the baked pie crust and chill in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours.
  5. Slice and serve chilled, garnished with basil leaves or lime slices.
