  • 1 large Egg essential for binding

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or use minced garlic for fresher taste
For the Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce homemade for fresher twist
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce opt for gluten-free if needed
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar consider maple syrup as a substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard can use Dijon or yellow mustard

Method
 

Making the Meatballs
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine lean ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Wet your hands and roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, about 32 total.
  4. Place the meatballs on the lined baking sheet, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, combine cranberry sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and mustard over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the mixture reaches a gentle boil and the sugar dissolves.
  3. Lower the heat and add the meatballs into the sauce, simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
