Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, basil pesto, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Lightly brush each slice with olive oil.
Spoon the chicken and pesto mixture generously onto each baguette slice.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
