  • 1/2 cup Dutch Process Cocoa Powder or natural cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 large Egg at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips dark, semisweet, or milk
For Optional Add-Ins
  • Nuts chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Seed Butter optional, such as peanut butter

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine pumpkin puree, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, melted butter, kosher salt, and egg in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  3. Slowly add granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder to the wet mixture, whisking until incorporated.
  4. Gradually fold in all-purpose flour and baking soda until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips without overmixing.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
