Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sour cream with 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and mix until smooth. Stir in 2 cups of cheddar cheese, 0.5 cup of cooked and chopped chicken or beef, and 1 chopped green onion. Add 0.25 teaspoon of hot sauce, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice off the top of the French bread loaf to create a lid and hollow out the inside, leaving a sturdy crust.
  4. Spoon the creamy dip mixture into the hollowed loaf and replace the top to seal it.
  5. Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil and bake on a baking sheet for about 1 hour until hot and bubbly.
