Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and coat a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, Italian sausage, shredded zucchini, egg, dried minced onion, garlic powder, dried basil, and salt. Mix well until cohesive.
  3. Roll the meat mixture into approximately 24 meatballs and place them in the prepared casserole dish.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 150-155°F.
  5. Remove from the oven, drain excess liquid, and pour marinara sauce over the meatballs. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Optionally, broil the casserole for 2-3 minutes for a crisp top, watching closely to avoid burning.
