Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Bake the meatloaf in your preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until slightly browned.
  4. Boil salted water and cook the macaroni until al dente, about 7-8 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour, then gradually whisk in milk until thickened. Add cheese, paprika, and dry mustard.
  6. Fold cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until well coated.
  7. Spread the cheesy macaroni mixture over the baked meatloaf and top with additional cheese.
  8. Bake for an additional 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let the casserole rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Slice into portions and serve warm.
