  • 1/2 cup Caster Sugar use granulated sugar if needed
  • 1 cup Cream opt for heavy cream for a denser mouthfeel
  • 1/2 cup Passionfruit Pulp/Juice use 100% strained pulp for authentic taste
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract or fresh vanilla bean for a more intense aroma
  • 1/4 cup Water needed for making the syrup
For the Passionfruit Syrup
  • 1/2 cup White Granulated Sugar or maple syrup for a unique twist
  • 1/2 cup Passionfruit Pulp (including seeds) fresh or frozen can be used

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Step 1: Sprinkle the powdered gelatine over the whole milk in a small saucepan and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Gently heat the mixture over low-medium heat, stirring until the gelatine dissolves, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Remove from heat, stir in caster sugar and cream, then add vanilla extract and passionfruit pulp until well combined.
  4. Step 4: Lightly grease ramekins and pour the mixture in, fill about three-quarters full, then cool slightly before refrigerating.
  5. Step 5: Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
  6. Step 6: For syrup, combine white sugar, water, and passionfruit pulp in a saucepan, cook until slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Unmold panna cotta onto plates and drizzle with warm passionfruit syrup before serving.
