Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then mix in the melted butter.
  3. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and stir until blended.
  4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then add the all-purpose flour. Fold gently until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar for the swirl.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Sprinkle three-quarters of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
  8. Top with the remaining batter, covering the swirl mixture.
  9. Gently swirl through the layers with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top before baking.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
