- Preheat your oven to 350º F (175º C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cold butter, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon to make crumb topping.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a stand mixer, cream together softened butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the banana batter until just combined.
- Pour half the batter into the baking dish, add crumb topping, layer with remaining batter and top with the rest of the crumb.
- Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare the optional glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk to a pourable consistency.
- Let the cake cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle glaze and serve.
