Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a broiler pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, tomato sauce, diced onion, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Divide the mixture into two portions and shape each into a loaf.
  5. Place the shaped loaves on the broiler pan and bake for 1 hour.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and salt for the glaze.
  7. After 1 hour, glaze each loaf and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let the meatloaves rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
