Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spray a broiler pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, tomato sauce, diced onion, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into two portions and shape each into a loaf.
- Place the shaped loaves on the broiler pan and bake for 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and salt for the glaze.
- After 1 hour, glaze each loaf and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let the meatloaves rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
