Ingredients
  

Lemonade Base
  • 4 cups Water Serves as the base for the lemonade
  • 1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice Can substitute with bottled lemon juice
  • ¾ cup Sugar Adjust to taste, can substitute with honey
  • 4-5 pieces Fresh Peaches Use ripe peaches, reserve some slices for garnish
Garnishing
  • 1 handful Fresh Mint Can substitute with basil
  • Extra slices Peach For decoration and added flavor

Method
 

Lemonade Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher, mix 4 cups of water with 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and ¾ cup of sugar. Stir well until sugar dissolves.
  2. Slice and pit 4 to 5 ripe peaches, reserving some slices for garnish.
  3. Blend the sliced peaches with 1 cup of the lemonade base and a handful of fresh mint leaves until smooth.
  4. Strain the blended peach mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, discarding solids for a smoother drink.
  5. Add the peach puree to the remaining lemonade in the pitcher and stir well to combine.
  6. Serve in tall glasses filled with ice, garnishing with mint leaves and peach slices.

Notes
