Ingredients
Method
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl.
- Melt the chocolate using a double boiler method: fill a saucepan with a couple of inches of water and bring it to a simmer. Place the bowl with the chocolate on top, ensuring it doesn’t touch the water. Stir occasionally until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove the bowl from the heat and let the chocolate cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Using a hand mixer or a whisk, beat the melted chocolate until it becomes light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes. If using a whisk, it may take longer.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes or cups and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
