Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • Pickles lettuce, and tomato for serving (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, diced onion, and diced bell pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 8 equal patties and place them in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture over the patties in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meat is cooked through and tender.
  5. About 15 minutes before serving, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty, cover, and allow the cheese to melt.
  6. Serve the cheeseburgers on hamburger buns with pickles, lettuce, and tomato if desired.
