  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
  4. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place the coated chicken nuggets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the nuggets for added crispiness.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the nuggets are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
