  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
  2. Carefully slice each potato into thin, even horizontal slices, leaving about ½ inch unsliced at the bottom.
  3. Insert fresh carrot sticks between the alternating potato layers to mimic bug legs.
  4. Pierce the top of each potato with a chopstick and insert smaller carrot sticks as antennae.
  5. Brush each potato generously with about 1 tablespoon of salted butter.
  6. Bake for about 8 minutes until the butter melts and the edges begin crisping up.
