  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt opt for dairy-free yogurt for a vegan twist
For the Cheesecake Flavor
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened, can use vegan cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup adjust to taste, consider agave for vegan
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional but recommended
For the Freshness
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced, can substitute with other berries
For Garnishing
  • ½ cup crushed graham crackers optional, adds a delightful crunch
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds or chia seeds
  • to taste whipped cream optional for indulgent mornings

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the old-fashioned oats, milk, and Greek yogurt. Stir well and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add softened cream cheese, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the oat mixture. Blend until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in diced fresh strawberries, mashing a few for extra flavor.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a mason jar or container, layering extra strawberries on top if desired.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Before serving, stir the oats and adjust consistency with additional milk if needed.
  7. Garnish with crushed graham crackers, sliced almonds, or whipped cream as desired.
