  1. Make Lemon Syrup by combining lemon juice, water, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved, about 2-3 minutes. Cool completely.
  2. Prepare Mascarpone Cream by whipping heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese with lemon zest until smooth.
  3. Combine Cream Mixtures by gently folding whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Assemble Tiramisu by quickly dipping ladyfinger cookies in cooled lemon syrup and layering them in a dish with half of the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Repeat Layers with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
