Step-by-Step Instructions for Lebanese Garlic Sauce
  1. Soak six to eight cloves of fresh garlic in a bowl of ice water for about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the garlic cloves and mix them with a pinch of salt in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
  3. Slowly drizzle in ¾ to 1 cup of vegetable oil while blending continuously for about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and couple of tablespoons of water. Blend until combined.
  5. Check the consistency; refrigerate for an hour if too thin or add more oil while blending to thicken.
  6. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to one week.
