Method
- In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth and there are no lumps.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips for extra gooeyness.
- Microwave the mug on high for 40-60 seconds, checking for doneness. The brownie should be set but still soft in the center.
- Allow the brownie to cool for a minute before enjoying it straight from the mug.
