  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons loose Earl Grey tea or 4 tea bags
  • 1 cup milk whole, almond, or oat
  • 1/2 cup cherry juice preferably unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Fresh cherries for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the loose Earl Grey tea or tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes for a strong flavor.
  2. Strain the tea into a large pitcher to remove the tea leaves or bags.
  3. Stir in the cherry juice and honey or sugar while the tea is still warm, ensuring everything is well combined.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
  5. Once chilled, pour the tea mixture into glasses filled with ice cubes if desired.
  6. Top each glass with milk, stirring gently to combine.
  7. Garnish with fresh cherries if using, and serve immediately.
