Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat and add 3 to 4 minced garlic cloves, stirring for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Place thawed cod fillets in the baking dish, drizzle half of the garlic butter over them, and season with Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- After baking, drizzle remaining garlic butter over the cod and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
