- 1 can (5 ounces) tuna in water, drained
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, halved cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, and olive oil. Mix gently to combine.
- Add the cooked pasta to the bowl and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the pesto mixture.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves if desired.
Notes
- For added crunch, toss in some chopped bell peppers or spinach before serving.
