Description
A delicious and easy recipe for grilled salmon with a sweet and savory honey garlic marinade.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let the salmon marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill.
- Grill the salmon for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Try substituting maple syrup for honey for a different flavor profile.
