Description
A colorful no-bake treat that combines the classic flavors of Oreo cookies and cheesecake, perfect for celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the chilled Oreo crust and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles and mini chocolate chips on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set. For best results, chill overnight.
- Once set, cut into bars and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a different flavor, substitute the Oreo cookies with chocolate chip cookies or graham crackers for the crust.
- Add fresh berries like strawberries or blueberries on top for a fruity twist and extra color.
