Crispy Garlic Chicken Cheese Melts are a delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring shredded chicken, creamy cheeses, and spices, all wrapped in crispy tortillas.

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooking spray or oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and spoon about 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture onto one half of the tortilla.
- Fold the tortilla over to cover the filling and press down gently. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Once all tortillas are cooked, slice them in half and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chicken mixture.
- Substitute the chicken with cooked shrimp or a plant-based protein for a different flavor profile.
