Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 cup diced cooked ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional)
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the tater tots, diced ham, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and arrange the triangles in a circle on a baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends and leaving the pointed ends hanging over the edge.
- Spoon the tater tot mixture onto the wide part of the crescent dough in the center.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the tater tot mixture.
- Fold the pointed ends of the crescent dough over the filling to create a ring, pinching the seams to seal.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the egg is set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped chives if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the tater tot mixture.
- Substitute the ham with cooked bacon or sausage for a different flavor profile.
